Ukrainian Championship in Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2: Format, Dates, Prize Pool, and Registration

The Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF) announces the launch of the first stage of the Ukrainian Championship in Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2. The tournament consists of four separate online stages and a 5th stage in LAN format.

All matches and qualifiers will take place on the Faceit platform.

Total Prize Pool for the First Stage

The total prize pool for the first stage of the Ukrainian Championship in CS2 and Dota 2 is 200,000 hryvnias — 100,000 UAH per discipline.

Dota 2 Prizes

• 1st place — 50,000 UAH
• 2nd place — 30,000 UAH
• 3rd-4th place — 10,000 UAH each

CS2 Prizes

• 1st place — 50,000 UAH
• 2nd place — 30,000 UAH
• 3rd-4th place — 10,000 UAH each

Only citizens of Ukraine are eligible to participate.

First Stage Schedule

• Dota 2: January 26 – March 1
• CS2: February 2 – March 15

Both disciplines will be held in online format.

First Stage Format

The first stage of the Ukrainian Championship in CS2 and Dota 2 consists of three stages.

Open Qualifiers

• 4 open online qualifiers
• Format: Double Elimination (eliminated after two losses)
• Matches: Best-of-One; the match to advance to the group stage — Best-of-Three
• 4 teams advance from each qualifier to the group stage

Group Stage

• 16 teams (4 groups of 4)
• Format: Swiss system (until two wins or two losses)
• All matches — Best-of-Three
• The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs

Playoff

• 8 teams
• Format: Single Elimination
• All matches — Best-of-Three

Registration for the Ukrainian Championship in CS2 and Dota 2

Registration for Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 is now open.

To take part in the qualifiers, you need to:

1. Go to the official website of the Ukrainian Esports Federation
2. Review the regulations for your chosen discipline
3. Fill out the team registration form
4. Register for the qualifier on the Faceit platform

Tournament Regulations

Before participating, all teams are required to review the official rules:

Community Cast

As part of the Ukrainian Championship, Community Casts are permitted — unofficial match broadcasts by Ukrainian streamers and studios with their own commentary.

Community Cast:

• does not replace the official broadcast;
• expands the tournament’s reach;
• supports the growth of the Ukrainian esports community.

To take part, applicants must submit a request and follow the rules regarding format, language, and broadcast conditions.
