Ukraine’s PUBG Battlegrounds national team will not be playing regional qualifiers — the team has received a direct invitation to the final stage of the Esports Nations Cup 2026. This means Feyerist, Hakatory, SoseD, DIFX, and their coach ALREIN will focus straight away on preparing for the main tournament rather than going through selection.
In total, 12 countries received direct invitations — the strongest nations based on the discipline’s international rankings. Another 10 countries will earn their spots through regional qualifiers. Two special spots remain: a solidarity slot and a slot for the local region, which will be decided separately.
As a result, 24 national teams from around the world will compete at the ENC 2026 final stage in PUBG Battlegrounds.
For Ukraine’s national team, this is recognition of the level of Ukrainian players on the international stage — most of the roster has experience competing at the highest-level tournaments, including the PUBG Global Championship and PGS.
Following the receipt of official National Team Partner status for the Esports Nations Cup 2026, the Ukrainian Esports Federation is responsible for forming national team rosters, their preparation, and coordinating participation across all of the tournament’s disciplines. It is thanks to this partnership that Ukraine competes at the championship as a full-fledged national team.
Ukrainian Esports Federation Executive Director Andrii Gryshchenko emphasized that the direct invitation is recognition of the high level of Ukraine’s PUBG scene.
Ukrainian PUBG players have been representing our country with distinction on the international stage for many years — through leading esports clubs and national team tournaments. Today, another important chapter opens for Ukraine’s national team — the Esports Nations Cup. It is a great honor for us to represent Ukraine under the blue-and-yellow flag at one of the world’s biggest national team championships. The direct invitation to the tournament’s main stage is recognition of the level of Ukrainian PUBG and our athletes. I believe the team will represent Ukraine with dignity on the world stage.
