The Ukrainian Esports Federation announces the launch of the fourth stage of the Ukrainian Championship in CS2 and Dota 2. Stage 4 continues the development of a tournament that has evolved significantly over the three previous stages — both in format and reach.
New General Partner
Stage 4 is taking place with the support of Logitech G — one of the world’s leading manufacturers of gaming peripherals. Logitech G equipment is the standard at the biggest international esports tournaments. The partnership opens up new opportunities for engaging with the federation’s audience and motivates players to participate in official competition.

How the Tournament Has Evolved
Over three stages, the Championship has transformed from an open qualifier into a structured competition with rankings, VRS status, and partnership programs. Among the new developments for Stage 4 is open solo registration in both disciplines: players without a team can sign up individually, and the federation will match them with teammates based on skill level and roles. The collaboration with Ukrainian Dota League also continues — a community project that has already helped form several teams in previous stages.
The Championship as a Launchpad to the International Stage
Results from previous stages are already making their mark internationally. Inner Circle Academy, Stage 1 finalists, currently sit at 132nd in the Valve world ranking — peaking at 94th. The team is actively competing at the Tier 3 level, receiving tournament invitations, and has already participated in two LAN events.
WBT Academy, Stage 2 winners, are at 138th — with a peak of 94th. They finished second at CCT 2026 Challengers Europe Series 5 and reached the semifinal of ESEA Season 57 Europe Finals.
B8 Academy, Stage 3 champions, are at 261st after peaking at 167th. Despite limited practice time since the tournament, the team is already reaching deep stages of open qualifiers and ESEA Advanced.
Three stages — three teams that emerged in part from the Ukrainian Championship and have established themselves on the international scene. Stage 4 will give the next one its chance.
Different Dynamics Across the Two Disciplines
CS2 shows stable competition and turnover at the top: three different champions across three stages — okura, WBT Academy, and B8 Academy. The open system and VRS ranking encourage new teams to compete for the top and produce unpredictable results.
In Dota 2, the picture is different. One roster — first as Team Hryvnia (second place at Stage 1), then as Balu Team — has won two consecutive stages. This reflects a broader global trend: according to Statista, Dota 2’s peak audience in July 2025 was 657,000 concurrent players — compared to a record of 1.29 million in March 2016. Dota 2’s average Twitch audience in August 2025 was 39,000 viewers — noticeably lower than in previous years. The shrinking pool of active players at the competitive level is part of this overall trend, which is also being observed on the Ukrainian scene. The federation’s response is solo registration and the UDL partnership — to lower the barrier to entry and bring in new participants.
