UESF announces the appointment of Mykyta Babych as National Team Manager — the person responsible for forming and coordinating Ukraine’s national teams for the Esports Nations Cup 2026.
The Esports Foundation has confirmed Mykyta Babych for the position of National Team Manager as part of preparations for the Esports Nations Cup 2026 (ENC 2026). Mykyta will be responsible for the full cycle of work with Ukraine’s national teams — from organizing tryouts and qualifiers to coordinating rosters and representing the country on the international stage.
About Mykyta Babych
Mykyta Babych is a specialist in operational management and team coordination, with experience in esports, digital projects, and international events. He previously worked within a top-tier esports environment, focusing on operational processes, logistics, and the organization of large-scale tournaments. Known for his structured, hands-on approach and his ability to bring clarity to complex processes.
The Role of National Team Manager
The National Team Manager is the key link between UESF, as National Team Partner, and the players aspiring to represent Ukraine at ENC 2026. In line with the tournament’s structure, the NTM is responsible for:
- organizing tryouts and qualifiers across each of the 16 disciplines
- forming and accrediting the national teams
- coordinating logistics and team preparation
- ensuring players meet the tournament’s requirements
ENC 2026 is built on a “player-first” principle: every Ukrainian esports athlete will have a clear and transparent path to making the national team through open qualifiers.
Comment from the National Team Manager
“It’s a great honor for me to be part of this process and to represent Ukraine. I understand the responsibility, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure we look our best — both as a team and as a country. I believe this will be a strong story, and I’m counting on your support,”
— Mykyta Babych, National Team Manager.
