The Ukrainian Championship in CS2 continues to grow — Stage 2 has received Valve Regional Standings rating status starting from the semifinals. This means matches at this stage will count toward the official Valve ranking.
Stage 1 received the same status — and it already delivered real results. Inner Circle Academy, finalists of the first stage, got matches listed on HLTV thanks to their participation in the tournament and now rank 151st in the world rankings.
VRS is Valve’s system that determines teams’ access to international qualifiers and tournaments. The more wins at rating-eligible tournaments, the higher the score — and the greater the chances of receiving an invitation to major international events in the future. For Ukrainian teams, participating in the Ukrainian Championship isn’t just local competition — it’s a real step toward the international stage.
