The first stage of the Ukrainian Championship in CS2 and Dota 2 brought together over 500 athletes from across the country. Stage 2 is now open — and it’s a chance for every team that hasn’t tried yet.
The Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF) announces the opening of registration for Stage 2 of the Ukrainian Championship in Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2. Stage 1 proved it: the tournament works, the interest is real, and the level of competition is rising with every round.
Stage 1 by the Numbers
The first stage brought together athletes from every corner of Ukraine:
CS2 — 82 teams, 410 players, 16 regions. Top regions: Kyiv (125 people), Lviv region (60), Odesa region (45).
Dota 2 — 26 teams, 130 players, 9 regions. Top regions: Kyiv (43 people), Lviv region (30), Kharkiv region (15).
In total — over 540 athletes, 108 teams, and hundreds of matches from open qualifiers to the grand final.
Stage 1 Champions
In CS2, the champion title went to okura — they defeated Inner Circle Academy 2:1 in the grand final. Bronze went to B8 Academy and Sicarios.
In Dota 2, NAVI Junior proved to be the strongest — winning a tense grand final against Team Hryvnia 2:1. Bronze went to Anchors and Nadbavka.
What Participating in the Ukrainian Championship Gives You
Beyond competitive experience and prize money, participating in the Championship has real value for every player and team. Whether you’re playing on a top-tier roster or just put together a team with friends — the Championship is a place worth being. Every match builds experience, every placement earns points, every stage brings you closer to something bigger.
UESF Internal Rating — points are awarded personally to each player, not the team. This means that even if a roster changes between stages, your points stay with you. Distribution: 1st place — 16 points, 2nd place — 12, 3rd-4th place — 8, 5th-8th place — 4, 9th-16th place — 2. The best players from the top-4 teams also receive an additional 1 MVP point.
VRS (Valve Regional Standings) — Valve’s system that opens the door for teams to international qualifiers. Only matches listed on HLTV count. And Stage 1 already delivered a concrete result: Inner Circle Academy, the CS2 finalists, got their 4th and 5th HLTV-listed matches thanks to our tournament — and now rank 243rd in the world. This isn’t abstract — it’s a real example of how participating in the Championship opens the door to the international stage. Every match at the tournament can be a step toward the big scene.

Your Turn — Stage 2 Is Waiting
Stage 2’s format is identical to the first stage: open qualifiers in Double Elimination → group stage with 16 teams → top-8 playoff. Prize pool — 100,000 UAH per discipline.

Dota 2: April 18-19 | April 25-26 | May 2-3 | May 9-10
CS2: April 25-26 | May 2-3 | May 9-10 | May 16-17
Registration for the first qualifier is now open. Teams with players who are Ukrainian citizens aged 14 and older are eligible to participate.
Please note: roster eligibility checks for Stage 2 will remain just as strict. The federation’s position is clear: the rules are the same for everyone, and compliance is a mandatory condition for participation.
